Getting Started

Go from zero to your first prediction in five steps.

Install a Midnight Wallet

Precizion runs on the Midnight Network. You need a Midnight-compatible wallet to connect. The 1AM browser extension is supported via Dynamic.

Requirements

Chrome or Chromium-based browser
1AM wallet extension (or another Midnight-compatible wallet)
Some NIGHT tokens for transactions

If you don't have NIGHT tokens yet, use the Midnight Faucet to get testnet tokens.

Connect Your Wallet

Click the Connect Wallet button in the top navigation bar. Dynamic will prompt you to approve the connection.

What happens on connect

→Wallet shares your shielded and unshielded addresses
→Precizion reads your NIGHT balance
→You can now create markets and place predictions

Browse Markets

Visit the Markets page to see all active prediction markets. Each market shows:

→Market question or target asset (e.g. "BTC price on Jul 30")
→Current pool size in NIGHT tokens
→Number of participants
→Time remaining until the market closes
→Status (Active, Resolved, etc.)

Place a Prediction

Select a market and enter your predicted numeric value. Unlike binary yes/no markets, you're predicting a single number — the closer you are to the actual outcome, the more you earn.

Before you bet

Check the minimum and maximum bet amounts
Make sure you have enough NIGHT tokens to cover your bet + transaction fees
Review the market end time — you can only bet before it closes

Your prediction and bet amount are submitted as a zero-knowledge proof — the blockchain verifies the transaction without revealing your private data.

Claim Rewards

After a market resolves, rewards are calculated based on how close each participant's prediction was to the actual value. Rewards are distributed via a Merkle tree — you claim your share on-chain with a ZK proof.
